Bangkok Tokyo Architecture is an architectural studio founded by Wtanya Chanvitan and Takahiro Kume in 2017. We are fascinated by open-ended structures and the assembly of ordinary elements; blurring the lines between ordinary and exceptional. Our practice explores resilient forms of living, seek ways to liberate architecture from the realm of experts and professionals to find potential models of sustainability.
Wtanya Chanvitan
Wtanya earned her Bachelors of Architecture from King Mongkut’s University of Technology Thonburi in Bangkok, Thailand and her Masters of Architecture from Musashino Art University in Tokyo, Japan.
She has taught at the School of Architecture and Design, King Mongkut’s University of Technology Thonburi and currently teaches at the International Program in Design and Architecture, Chulalongkorn University in Bangkok, Thailand.
Takahiro Kume
Takahiro earned his Bachelors and Masters of Architecture from Ritsumeikan University, Japan
and has taught at the School of Architecture and Design at King Mongkut’s University of Technology Thonburi in Bangkok, Thailand.
